I will dominate 'credible boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex two time unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
